Otsukimi

Otsukimi means “moon-viewing”, and this is a tea gathering that takes place in the fall to celebrate the Harvest Moon.

Private Lessons

Urasenke certified instructors provide on-going private chanoyu lessons to people who are interested in learning the Way of Tea. All students are recommended to become a member of the Urasenke San Diego Tankokai San Diego Association.

Demonstrations

Urasenke teachers organize chanoyu demonstrations, presentations, and lectures throughout the year in the San Diego Area. Monthly demonstrations are held at the
